Virtual Cookies are Best!

Thank you so much for the milk & cookies, Andy, Ali and Elisa! 

Virtual cookies are best. I'm going to see if I can trim down a bit now that I have the house to myself. My body's rhythms seem to be okay with working out mid-morning and having a tiny nap mid-afternoon. Shocking about that nap thing. I've never been a napper.

I love afternoon naps. Unfortunately, I usually feel tired about half an hour before I have to pick the kids up from school. So, I can't nap, and by the time I'm home again, I'm awake. Which is probably a good thing...

I read some study about napping that said you don't need to fall fully asleep for the brain to re-boot. That made me re-define "nap" and realize that, yes, I am able to do it.

I like the thought of having a second chance at fresh morning-brain in the afternoon!

Here's an article about what I'm trying to do. I try to get to the point where it just feels like I'm starting to dream, and then wake back up. I did it really well on Wednesday and I was alert all afternoon.
