It's so me.

So, I swear I'm not going to be one of those people who posts eight million YouTube links, but I couldn't resist sharing that based on what I watch (or perhaps what I post), YouTube recommended HOW TO SHAVE YOUR GROIN for my viewing pleasure.

No doubt I will have Channeling Morpheus dreams from it. That wouldn't be a bad thing.

And in crazy cat person news, I was outside working and when I came in, Puffy had eaten a hole in the side of a bag of unopened cat food and was happily mowing away at it.

It "this sucks" news, the landscapers who were here today cut my electrical cable and it was a whole fiasco. No exercise, no writing, no grocery shopping, and I've pretty much had it at this point. My boyfriend is out of town and everything goes to shit. Drinking ensues. (Something called "Sparks" which is an alcoholic energy drink. Not bad.)

Isn't that video hysterical?

"shaving the bush to make the tree look taller"

Sorry about the electricity. :( Did they get it fixed?

It took a few hours and botched my day, but yeah, the electricity's back. I kept trying to tell myself that plenty of people have much bigger problems than being without power for a few hours and that I shouldn't be such a baby. But it was the uncertainty of when/how it would finally happen that was making me crazy.

Oh God. I read "Manikin" probably ten times before Marushka stopped creeping me out quite so much. Poor Michael just keeps getting himself into situations and wondering how he got there. And his "Michael-logic" is really eerily compelling when you think about it.

I love that you see the Michael-logic. I feel that it's very strong. I've seen complaints that it's Michael's fault that he and Wild Bill are constantly in danger -- and yeah, that's true. (What kind of story would I have if they sat home and ordered pizza and watched movies instead of getting into trouble hunting vampires?) But Michael's not a big dumbass. He has a thought process. Sure, it's flawed, but he's still brilliant and brave in his own way.
