Trick or Treat

I love, love, love Halloween. I might not decorate my house for it, but only because I don't decorate my house for anything. I do always give out "good" candy (i.e. name-brand chocolate) and watch monster movies. Which is pretty much like every other day, except I don't usually have strangers knocking on my door.

My virtual treat for you is WHOPPING 20% off every order over $2 at JCP Books. Use the coupon code "boo." This coupon's only valid until the end of the day 11/1, so don't delay--fill up your hollowed-out pumpkin with smutty M/M goodness!

Tasty Halloween treats include The Voice, where a haunted house attraction is so much more than Martin had ever dreamed it would be, and Verdant, a re-release of my homage to Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Oh go ahead... twist my arm... LOL! I just purchased Secrets, Striking Sparks and The Voice. I am loving the Psy Cops series, and particularly enjoying reading books set in Chitown. Can't wait for Camp Hell.

Awesome, I hope you enjoy Secrets, and good for you for scoring it at 20% off! (I'm getting a vicarious thrill for everyone who's putting the coupon to good use. I love a bargain.)

Vic has a lot of business in the Loop in Camp Hell, where I went to school and then worked for several years, so I think there's a big sense of place in the book :D

Do you ever do signings in the Chicago area? Any good booksellers in town? I order trade paperbacks online, because I haven't found a good LGBT bookstore. In a town this size, there's gotta be one, right?

Is that enough questions? Jeez! I don't mean to drill you, but none of my m/m loving friends live in the area. LOL

Big disclaimer: I haven't been to any of these bookstores, but here's the info I have--

Pride Agenda Bookstore 1109 Westgate Oak Park
Prairie Moon 864 East Northwest Hwy. Mount Prospect
Moon Mystique Books 614 W Belmont Ave - (773) 665-9016

I'd check to see if it's out of date. A lot of the stores on my list were closed.

I can usually be found on panels at WisCon (LGBT-friendly Feminist SF/F convention in Madison, Memorial Day weekend--not too far from Chitown) and if anyone asked me to sign a book for them I'd probably faint from elation--but I haven't done any actual signings. I've thought about checking out some Chicago cons. I could stay with the in-laws in the 'burbs if I attended.

Thanks! Well, I plan to buy Psy Cop paperbacks sometime soon and would love to have them signed. Please don't faint. Wouldn't want you to sustain an injury... Need you healthy so you can WRITE MORE!

Do you get more money if we buy from you? Or do you prefer purchases to be made from Amazon (for the bestsellers lists)? I need all these books in paperback. How much postage is it to Australia? lol okay, I am done now

Hi Linda, how nice of you to ask! Get the paperbacks however the postage is cheapest for you. Neither of the paperback links for PsyCop Property actually go "direct" from me. One is the CreateSpace store and one is Amazon. I think you'd have to go through the process of putting the books in your cart and seeing how much they'll nail you for the shipping.

If the shipping's really insane, email me privately at jordan (at) psycop.com and I'll take a couple of books to the post office and see what it would cost for me to ship them to you. That's about as direct as you can get! :D

I hate that oversees readers can get really soaked for shipping.

Oh, and also, Partners is published by Torquere Press and Property by JCP Books, so to get them in one fell swoop, Amazon would be your best bet. (Camp Hell will be out soon too, maybe worth waiting?)
