Pushy Ghosts

And an even pushier shopkeeper!

The stunningly talented Gomez Pugh has brought to audio even more of the characters you know and love (or love to hate!) Miss Mattie. Crash. And "some guy" named Roger Burke!

Please note: if you do not currently have a monthly subscription to Audible.com and you were thinking of getting the subscription, it would be SUPER HELPFUL if Criss Cross or Among the Living was the first book you bought once you signed up. If you buy one of my titles first, Audible will give me an incentive bonus that would help me fund the production of the rest of the series.

But even if you don't want to join anything, you can get the audiobook ala carte!

Bought this last night as soon as your newsletter came out. I'm so excited to see this second book made into audio! Thanks, Jordan, for offering this :)

How could I not? It's a PsyCop novel read by Gomez Pugh. That's a winning combination right there, and fat chance that it won't be amazing! :D

I'm 29% in now. Loving it. I think his Jacob voice is a little different than on the first one. I like it more. His Vic narration remains perfect.

Poor Vic and his bad stomach. I know how that feels, though I only had to stop taking ibuprofen to fix mine, not Auracel, Seconal and tainted coffee. :D

We did some tweaks on Jacob. There was something about how he "approached the mike," I don't know, it went completely over my head. I was pleased with the results though. I feel for him being a trained actor taking direction from an utter novice.

When you mention your stomach I think of the tannin-coated inside of your teapot! For me, all the stuff that's really cravable with a starch/fat wallop, like donuts and pizza, seriously disagrees with me.

We Brits must be immune from the effects of tea - or we'd be dead!

Since I stopped the ibuprofen I'm finding no food is triggering me off at all. Not even black coffee. It's great. Though I do have to avoid eating anything later in the evening.
