phone1Until I moved last summer, I lived in a dead zone where only one very expensive carrier worked. When I moved, I "upgraded" only the refurbished phone I bought was hinky. You'd press a 2 and it would register as an 8, for instance, completely unusable. Well, that's all squared away now, but let's just say I'm gun-shy now. Or should i say phone-shy? I hate the phone and only use it if there's no other way I can get something done.

However, I know this is not typical behavior. Other people use their phones. They even enjoy them.

In light of that reality, I re-jiggered my newsletter so it can be read on a smartphone. It won't look all that much different on computers and tablets, it'll just look like I moved the column to the opposite side. But it's rebuilt to be responsive and more useful.

Have a peek here, in March's JCP News:  http://eepurl.com/QfMAv

UGH I love my phone. The first thing I did when we got back from overseas was go buy iPhones for both my husband and myself. I do EVERYTHING on it - I even READ on it (I might have the Turbulence Collection and the most recent Psycop as permanent fixtures on my iPhone :D ) I text a lot and follow Twitter so much stuff. LOL. And yes, I read the most recent newsletter on my phone:D

COOL picture of that phone :D

My current carrier will now accept iPhones. I think when I take the plunge and get a decent phone I may get over my phone phobia somewhat.

I certainly remember those old wall phones. Do you remember the princess phones? They took a beating and still worked!

I HAD one of those princess phones! I didn't like it though, it was too hard to cradle the handset with my shoulder.

The smart phone is the product I've been waiting for all my life. :D Normal cell phones weren't that appealing to me, but one I can get my email on and Twitter and stuff, read ebooks, keep my diary and to do list, oh yeah, gimme!! :D

I've just been checking out the site on my phone and it looks good, works nicely.

Yay, glad the newsletter works well on your phone. I checked it on my iPod...which is like a cell phone without the pesky phone component and monthly charges.

I thought my cheap android phone would work like my iPod but it just doesn't. It's slow and unfathomable. One of these days I'll upgrade.

I have an Android Galaxy Note II. It's HUGE, a 4.5 viewing area, and I use it for reading, watching videos once in a while (short ones) and web browsing. On short trips I no longer have to schlep around a laptop.

Oh and it works for phone calls, too. :)

The large screen sounds fantastic!
