Thank you! How can I keep up with the multi names??? Probably easier since I've had dinner with you.

Wow. You're almost done with these? I must admit I got behind in buying as they came out. Will have to pick up the missing ones...eventually. As soon as life quits knocking me to my knees. *sighs*

I'm so looking forward to mainlining the whole thing :)

I hope things ease up for you soon. It feels to me like I've been working on this series forever since it turned out to take the whole month to produce the installment rather than the week I'd planned for.

You make such pretty covers :)
Goes well with the pretty inside

Oh, I forgot there'd be a cover for the whole series brought together. Very nice. I love that green you've been using.

Though I am now left wondering what Kay looks like. :D

I didn't do Kaye covers since she's not a POV character, though I did toy with the idea for a while, back when I had a big unplanned "middle" and the possibility of doing a Kaye-centric episode.

I've seen that green on a lot of movie posters. I must have initially sampled it from a background photo.

Fabulous cover and a great addition to the series :). I love the way the overall design has been carried through the series but the individual instalments are still very individual.

Thank you, it was a big challenge to do it that way, but I wanted it to be obvious they were a set, you can't read just one and expect to find a finished, resolved story there, and you can't read them out of order and know what's going on.

It's hard to imagine any kind of good series you could read in a random order, though, isn't it? Wouldn't that mean nothing important happened in the story before?

LOL exactly! I think the pleasure of a series of this kind is investing in the main characters and their relationships.

IMHO, Turbulence is a true series, where the plot develops as well by instalment. Your other series - Channeling Morpheus, PsyCop, Petit Morts - are examples of a series where the plots are largely individual to each book, but with continuing growth of the central characters' relationship and other underlying themes. And then there are series by other authors where they're not a development but a collection of stories set e.g. in the same place.

There ends my treatise on series ... LOL

I may be tetchy because someone went on Amazon and reviewed each installment with "this can be read separately" and I'm thinking "What? Nooo, don't do it, you'll hate it because you won't know wtf is happening!"
