How many weeks was that?

Granted I've been traveling a lot lately. So I cut myself some slack over that little red Netflix envelope that's been sitting on the catch-all table beside the front door for a really long time. Finally, last night, I decided to get it over with and watch The Number 23.

1. turns out I've had the rental disc for about TEN WEEKS
2. also turns out I've seen it already, which I realized during the opening credits

Anyway, I did enjoy it. But sheesh.

I always do the forehead-smacking thing when I realize I've re-rented something, forgetting I've already seen it. I did that with the movie But (like with yours), I enjoyed it a lot the second time around, so it's not like it was a waste of money.

I think for the most part I forget movies so I can watch them again a couple years later and they're somewhat new to me.

I had to leave Love Film for precisely this reason. Discs would sit there for weeks on end, unwatched. I've got an online Netflix subscription now instead. At least I can stream stuff when I want to, rather than having to wait for the disc to arrive.

That said, I've hardly watched any telly in the last couple of months. That's a good thing really, although it does mean I've hardly done any knitting either. Got to finish that winter scarf soon, as it's getting mighty chilly round here!

I'm really far behind on TV series. I see two of my faves have released new seasons to Netflix. I guess that's good with winter practically upon us. Mostly I stream too, but I get the one-disc-per-month deal since some of their movies or shows are only on disc. Then I sit on the disc for ten weeks.
