Aw, crap! And I have to run off to work. Guess I'll be waiting on pins and needles 'til I get home so I can read this. Jordan, you are so evil for the tease, but thank you anyway :)

At least you'll have something to look forward to :D

Yes...new series!
For some reason, I had it stuck in my head that Mnevermind was going to be a series of shorts. As much as I LOVE your short stories, I'm so excited that the story will be longer. Mostly because I always end up feeling like I want more when I finish anything by you. (One of my favorite feelings in the world!)

AND, as much as I love Vic (and, really, who doesn't love Vic), I'm looking forward to new characters, too!

Re: Yes...new series!
There is another one coming soon called Turbulence that will be a series of shorts, I'll bet you're thinking of that.

Mnevermind will be a trilogy of short-ish novels, about 50k each.

There are some things I wanted to explore about families that weren't practical to do within the PsyCop setup, so these characters seemed better to tell that story with.

BTW I had a Book Depository parcel waiting for me at the post office this morning :D

Ah, you do the paperbacks! The sales have drastically shifted to digital, to the point where I'm unsure paperbacks are fiscally worth doing...but, I'll be honest. The typesetting I did on Magic Mansion is my favorite, ever. (That will be released soon, I want to flip through it one more time, once I release Persistence of Memory.)

Maybe I just relegate it to the category of "labor of love"? I'm not sure.

Oh wow I am looking forward to Magic Mansion then :) I'm defo a paperback person! Love nothing more than spending time in bookshops. I will be sad if you stop doing paperbacks, but I totally understand if you are not making $ from it.

I was pleasantly surprised at the back cover of the Syarving Years, cos u know, there was no back cover on the ebook so I was only expecting a blurb not a pic.
