Anytime! I am thrilled you used some of mine :o)
I love learning more about characters I enjoy reading.
And next time I promise I'll send questions without... er... typos.

Loved Crash's interview! And Zero Hour is as good as ever. It's such a treat to read! But of course for the crazy cat lady (a.k.a Kris) the highpoint of the letter was Frankie. ;P And what a great tip on how to get a cat to take his medicine. You know, through my life I've had the pill struggle with three different cats and it never occurred to me to make them hungry first! I could just slap me...

Hi Kris!!
Well, the starve-method didn't work today and I'm in tears with the inability to get him to take his pills. I guess we call the vet in the morning and see what to do.

If I have to drive him back and forth every day to get a pill in him, then that's what I'll have to do. I think an injection would be way easier.

I signed up (as a reader) at the GLBT Bookshelf when it first started. I wasn't sure if we're supposed to comment on author's pages. Some of my favourite authors have pages there now, and I've been wanting to comment, but felt it may be inappropriate. (Last time I checked, no one had commented on any author's pages.) As a reader I sort of feel a bit out of place there, but I enjoyed reading and commenting in the Readers' Forum.

It's hard to wait each month for a new chapter of "Zero Hour". But it's good to have something to look forward to. I need to have things like that to get me through winter.

I'm another cat owner that struggles with pills. I ask my vet for a paste syringe now. The paste is easy to insert into whatever fish dish my kitty is fond of at the time. Unfortunately, if the medication isn't available in paste form, it's a case of having to crush and mix the pill, hoping that the taste is well and truly disguised. And I always ask for a injection first off, to make sure some of the medication is given a chance to work.

Hello! I'm so glad you posted -- nothing to fear here, I'm so harmless.

Zero Hour is an original story. I was trying to think about how it might seem like a fanfic. Maybe because I'm posting it one chapter at a time, serially. I think one-chapter-at-a-time was a lot more common a century ago. I was just looking for some interesting content to put in the newsletter and got the idea to tell the story one chapter at a time. Hopefully you enjoy it :D

I do have plans to put Vic on the interview block some time.

Your icon is so cool :D
