The Run

Puff man's days may be numbered due to his chronic liver condition but he and Frankie are still doing the bushy-tailed freak-out run tonight (even though he's usually too wobbly to run.) I love that.

Thanks, it's always hard when they get old.

Mine were doing that this morning - FOUR THIRTY THIS MORNING! I didn't love that. There's four of them and there's no way I can sleep through it.

I would love the sound of four kitties doing the freak-out run :D

I love when my cats do that. They always go a bit crazy in the morning, and especially now it's spring. Bushy tailed cat run. That should be the name of a song.

I'm sorry, though, that your cat's not doing well health wise. I hope he has many more runs.

The run caught me by surprise, but I cherished it.

I'm so sorry your Puff man isn't doing so well, but it good that he feels well enough for a little romp. I hope he surprises you and stays healthy for some time to come :)

Thanks, I hope he surprises me too. I found out about his problem a year ago and it's been a good year. Maybe I'll get another good year, I don't know.

I'm glad Puff man still has enough pizzazz to pull off the puff tail run. This is a good thing. Big hugs to him and to you!

They do try so hard, right up to the end. One of the things I love about cats.

Loved the midnight run image! My life is completely pwned by cats. My current editorial assistant (tabby stripes w/white feet) is young, but last year we said goodbye to Blackstar, who'd just hit her 21st birthday. I still catch myself doing things she'd trained me to do! Hope your Puff Man lives well to the end. I know you'll miss him.

Interesting, I wonder what I've been trained to do. No doubt something!

It's mostly simple stuff, like leaving the bathroom door slightly ajar when I go in, so there will be no howling, scratching cat-diva stuck on the other side. Or thinking I have to serve the wet cat food on one specific glass dish and no other (current cat couldn't care less - she'd eat it off the floor).

Oh yes, Frankie needs his specific bowl!

Gotta love that even the most elderly cat is never too old for a bushy-tailed freak out run. When I get that age, I want to do it just like a kitty.

**hugs to you and your Puff man**
