Yay! Puffy is home!

I'm too lazy to haul out the camera so here's an older photo of the Puff Man modeling with my Himalayan Salt Lamp which was new at the time.

He had four teeth extracted, and he looked pretty woozy when he got home. He made it through the anesthesia just fine and there was no infection in the bad teeth. He's been home about three hours and he looks a lot more like himself now, which makes me happy.

Often when a cat comes home from the vet, the other cats in the house are like, "Who are you? You smell weird. I'm hissing now." But Frankie did his usual, "Oh, yay, you're home! La-la-la!" happy greeting. He's such a sweetheart. I'm so lucky.

I'm so glad he's doing well. My zoo always pummeled who ever came home from the vet and smothered them with affection.

I think animals who live with several others are a lot happier. Single cats get so neurotic.

They do bond with each other. My dog mourned for months when my other dog died.

Glad he's doing well. My cats hate each other at the best of timeS, I'm not sure they wouldn't do a happy dance if one or the other disappeared and probably sulk if they came back home.

I'm happy these two get along. When I first got Frankie I was worried he'd never be affectionate since he paced a lot...now you can't stand still without getting cuddled.

It's such a huge relief. He's guarding the fridge now.

Me too. It was scary at first when he looked all squashed and out-of-it, but you could tell as he started feeling better, he started to look more and more like himself.

He's a bit drooly but he seems in good spirits.

Frankie looks a bit nerdy in that shot, but it seemed appropriate :-)

Great news! Surgery and the waiting afterward is always so nerve-mangling.

Ugh, I know, I was so nervous I hung up on the vet when she called.

I'm so glad everything went well. It's always so stressful when the furry ones have to go to the vet, no matter the reason. Hope everything turns out well for Puffy.
