Scrivener blows my mind

It was remarked that all the names I generated sounded really white, and lo and behold, I found SETTINGS. I had it set on common-sounding names of either gender, based on popular American and British names. So I cranked the obscurity level, toggled it to male-only, added Hindi and Hispanic names, and told it to alliterate them. Hah!

I didn't mean to be dawdling today...but this is some cool shit.

ETA: What, how can the text-to-speech possibly sound that natural? Holy cow. MIND IS BLOWN. (Probably for the best I didn't know this before I finished GhosTV).

I use both but the spiffy features I'm discovering are on the Mac. Many make use of features inherent in Mac's operating system, so I don't know how or if they can live on the Windows version.

Oh, that is superb!!!

I'm still not sure if this is in the Windows version yet, but I'm just downloading the latest beta and will have to check it out.

BTW - I promised you a Brussels Sprout Creole recipe on Clare London's LJ last month, and I've finally found my old handwritten recipe book lurking in a pile of paperwork by the computer. I'll type it up and send it to you later, time permitting :)

How awesome, I think I have some sprouts in the freezer!

The really advanced features work in conjunction with the Mac Operating system so I suspect they will have to develop them differently for the Windows version.

I keep hearing about the awesomeness of Scrivener. I'm a PC so I get to play with the beta version for now but yeah, it really is an awesome program (and I have tried many!). I'm glad I saw your post since it reminded me to check the website for any progress.
